What it lacks in mountains it makes up for in charm
Located in Central Florida’s Lake District, the rolling hills and Victorian architecture of Mount Dora provide a departure from the more tropical beachside vibes that characterize South Florida. The town is known for its antiques stores, boutiques, scenic vistas, and numerous dining options that include everything from barbecue to fine dining. Mount Dora is also small enough for road trippers to stop by for a few hours while also offering enough attractions to warrant a longer weekend getaway.
