FATVillage, Ft. Lauderdale’s introverted interpretation of art-centric Wynwood, is gaining momentum with the help of JEY Hospitality founder Marc Falsetto, the man behind popular spots like TacoCraft, PizzaCraft, and Rok:Brgr. At his latest creation, Henry’s Sandwich Station, the focus is on small batch purveyors and house-smoked and cured meats. Sandwiches include “Montreal Style,” smoked meat on Zak The Baker Jewish rye; the Roast Pork, with pork shoulder, provolone, broccoli rabe on a semolina baguette; and the truffle grilled cheese, featuring truffle-laced goat cheese, fontina, mushrooms, and white truffle butter on sourdough. But the highlights don’t stop at sandwiches, with the restaurant also featuring a French fry bar and bakery that specializes in pies.
