Meat from Novecento

With plans to debut a new look and feel this summer

South Florida’s SuViche Hospitality Group has announced that it has acquired the Novecento restaurants. It plans to give eateries a refresh with a new menu and look and feel along with opening new locations throughout South Florida.

The purchase was made last summer, and since then the SuViche team has focusing on re-structuring the back-end operations of the business and doing research in Argentina to help learn more about the company’s identity. Now with everything in place, the group plans to debut the revamped Novecento starting with a new location in CityPlace Doral slated to debut this summer.

In addition to a menu-wide refresh, new dishes will be added in all categories like a la carte meats offered with new side items and “lighter” dishes. A new cocktail menu is in the works with a dozen new drink offerings along with a new beer and wine program. As for the space, that’s getting a revamp too with the new Novecento outposts designed by Saladino Design Studios. The space will have self-described “rustic charm” with brick walls, copper and polished brass fishes and an open layout.

Novecento first opened its doors in 1991 in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, and quickly went international – opening locations in cities like Canitas, Argentina; Punta Del Este, Uruguay; and Cordoba, Argentina. Novecento came to Miami in 2002 with its first location in Miami Beach; then moving to Brickell and expanding to Key Biscayne, Aventura and Midtown Miami. It currently has 13 locations throughout the US and South America.

The new Novecento will be located at CityPlace Doral at 8300 NW 36th Street.
